Sober Events is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing safe, sober events and support to individuals and families affected by addiction. We believe recovery doesn’t have to be boring—and we’ve built a thriving community around that idea. Under the Sober Events umbrella, we operate Outreach 419, our daily outreach and drop-in center that serves as a welcoming space for anyone seeking support, connection, and purpose on the recovery journey.

Located just outside Greenville, we are open 7 days a week and currently serve around 200 participants weekly through a wide range of services. These include All Recovery support groups every Monday through Friday at 12pm and 6pm, one-on-one peer support, sober social events, wellness activities, and community volunteer opportunities. Our doors are open not only to those in recovery but also to their families and to community members who want to walk alongside those healing from substance use disorder.

Whether it’s hosting Friday night events like karaoke, bingo, or testimony nights—or offering a safe space to grab a cup of coffee and talk—our goal remains simple: to help people find healing, connection, and purpose by offering a community that meets them where they are and walks with them toward where they want to go.

We look forward to being strong community partners, breaking down stigma, and creating more pathways to recovery and hope throughout Montcalm County.
